Greetings to all Dear Students

I extend a warm welcome to the new batch of students who got enrolled in our institution for the academic session 2022 -23 under NEP 2020. In the last few decades, the women enrolment in higher education in India has increased and constitutes 49% of total 38.5million enrolment (AISHE 2019-20). In our social environment, we need to provide equal opportunities to women especially access to higher education for their capacity building and thereby empowerment. Srinagar Women’s College, Srinagar is the third established college for women in Srinagar city catering to students hailing from the North of city and its outskirts. We are committed to impart quality education and foster a conducive environment of learning by offering modern education amalgamated with value based education leading to student transformation which shall ultimately pave way for the overall societal transformation. We strive to nurture the creativity of our students and encourage competitiveness and challenge accepting approach in them to aim and achieve bigger in line with our mission and vision.
